Mark is passionate to see individuals deepen their intimacy with God and capture an eternal perspective. With 16 years of effective youth ministry experience in some of the greatest churches in this nation, Mark brings proven strategies for effective ministry and leadership development. Most recently Mark & his wife Heidi ministered at the International Church of Las Vegas and developed a youth ministry that was ministering to over 600 students and 65 leaders on a weekly basis.
Mark has a Masters of Divinity. He and his wife Heidi founded Mark Zweifel Ministries in 2006. They along with the Las Vegas Dream Center touch thousands each summer through Sin City Outreach (SCO). SCO is the largest inner city missions experience of its kind in North America—literally turning the inner city of Vegas into the inner sanctuary.
In December of 2008 Mark & Heidi relocated to Anchorage, Alaska with their four daughters to become the District Youth Directors for the Alaska Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. Under their innovative and out of the box leadership they have seen their network's youth conference and summer camp attendance nearly double in the last 2 years. They have also seen over a 300% increase in missions giving.
Mark & Heidi desire to "put" Alaska, their new home, on the map in regards to its vast ministry needs. With over 100 plus villages with no consistent evangelical witness, they initiated and began Alaska Outreach. The goal of Alaska Outreach is to see 500 young people from all over this nation to participate in short term mission experiences each summer.
Mark's love for ministry pales no comparison to his love for his family. His bride of almost 14 years, and his 4 daughters are what propel him to living life to the fullest.
